Age requirement:
Jockeys must be aged: 16 or older
Length of stay: Varies - depending on the training

To apply you must:

• meet the specific requirements for your field of study or training

• have enough money to support yourself, or have an acceptable sponsor

• meet the other requirements of this visa. 

This visa lets you:

• stay for up to 6 months if you are a medical or dental trainee.

• stay for up to 6 months if you are a student doing practical training.

• stay for up to 12 months if you are a religious trainee and apply for additional annual visas and stay up to 4 years in total.

• stay for up to 4 years if you are an apprentice jockey.

• do practical work experience to complete a study or training requirement.

• complete a formal religious training programme or apprenticeship as a jockey.

• do practical dental or medical training.

• study for up to 3 months in any 12-month period.
